I am a Postdoctoral Fellow and Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Milan. I earned my PhD under the supervision of Christopher Gauker at the University of Salzburg, where I specialized in mental imagery and action theory. During my time in Salzburg, I also worked as a University Assistant, teaching courses on a variety of topics.
I hold a bachelor's degree from LUISS University of Rome and a master's degree from the University of Salzburg. As an undergraduate, I participated in an exchange program at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow. More recently, I was a Visiting Fellow at Ruhr-University Bochum.
My current research focuses on representational formats in thought and action, especially in relation to action planning and performance, with broader interests in the role of imagination in domains such as decision-making, practical reasoning, dance and choreography, and engagement with fiction.
